The first picture is from Fort Frederick, with the Carenage to my back, looking out to the East, more or less.

The second picture of the hotel in the hills, is a section of rooms at the Flamboyant.

I enjoyed your pictures as well, congratulations on the anniversary. (bb (bb

Oh, and the fruit, I call that subliminal fruit (IMG:http://grenadatravelforum.com/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) (IMG:http://grenadatravelforum.com/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Wait, isn't this the Grand View Inn and not the Flamboyant?

The hotel in the front of the photo is the Flamboyant, the Grand View Inn is the higher one at the back (bb (bb (bb .

Those rooms in the front are facing Morne Rouge? I did not know Flamboyant has rooms facing that way. I thought those belonged to Grand View! Maybe I am disoriented in the picture.

Medic,

I was emailing Lawrence today at the Flamboyant as it appears that they will be partly open for Xmas and I was checking about family rooms. I sent him the photo at the same time and asked which was which and the reply above is what he told me. Now I'm confused with what you say as I thought it was facing Grand Anse! Where is the falmbouyant hotel located?? When we were there last month we stayed at La Source and hubby said that it would not be a bad idea to go back and support the economy of Grenada. So which hotel is it???

Anse, what the heck is a subliminal fruit (IMG:http://grenadatravelforum.com/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) are you just making things up (IMG:http://grenadatravelforum.com/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

When you are headed towards Quarantine Point, or Station if you prefer, the Flamboyant is on your left. The lobby is close to the road, the building is white and several stories tall. There are parking spaces perpendicular to the road on either side of the road by the Flamboyant.

The pic that I think you are asking about is rooms from the Grand View Inn.

If I have to explain subliminal fruit to you....... (IMG:http://grenadatravelforum.com/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)
