(IMG:http://grenadatravelforum.com/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Hi,
I've just spended two weeks on Carriacou on vacation.
I just fell in love with this little island.

I just wanted to give a tip that if you are planning on going to
Grenada and are a little nervous about how travelling is there now.
Remember that you can always go to Carriacou - it didnīt get much
damage. The island is beautiful and the people there are very friendly.
Iīm sure you will have a great time.

Hi there,
my trip was very relaxed with a lot of swimming. I stayed at Paradise Inn at Paradise beach. There you only have 5 meter to the beach and a restaurant located at the beach. A great way to start the day, having breakfast and just looking out on the splendid view of sandy island.
I went to Union Island and Petit Martinique, went out dancing in Hillsborough etc.
I met a lot of nice people. They are very warm and friendly there. Two weeks went by so fast.

I come from a little town named Ludvika in a part of Sweden called "Dalarna".
Right now we have about zero degrees (in the nights minus). So quite a difference from Grenada.

From where are your grandmother?

Anse I didn't know you had Swedish blood in you. My mother's mother and her parents all came to the US from the Grums, Wermland area in the vicinity of Goteborg. Her father's family came from the Nickolia area. All came over in the 1880s and early 1890s.

My father's family came from the Aalborg or Hjorring areas of Denmark.
