Do a search here, and you should find a post of mine with pictures of the Grand View.  Nice place.

I have also seen a number of the rooms at Ade's, and I would stay there as well.  Very convenient location if you are just staying overnight, and want to hit the Osprey easily.

Anse,
I presume you have been to Grenada/Carriacou a few times, which Inn or Hotel would you stay in.
We are going to be in Grenada for maybe 5 days , Carriacou for 6 days and are going to visit Union Island we are going to have to be frugal (IMG:http://grenadatravelforum.com/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) with the money.
The itinery might change depending on which island has the most to keep us both occupied, I like all water sports she likes well...........she's a city girl if you get my drift. The wife wants a bit of comfort and the option to leave her in Florida isn't an option (IMG:http://grenadatravelforum.com/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) she would like at least AirCon.
Saw the photo's NICE.
Thx

Well, you have several good choices in my opinion. Ade's is usually very reasonable, but you will have to check to make sure a room with ac is available. I found the Grand View at the recommendation of Ade's, and I like it, although the pool was not open when I stayed there last. They were flexible with the rates, although I usually go during the slow season. The Green Roof Inn is also very nice, and you may want to consider moving around between a couple of places during your stay. There are also several other choices, but I need to know what is the order of priorities. Price, location, view, ac or ???

Hi Anse,
We need some thing with AC for the wife and I need a swimming pool, a nice place to eat close by,also we have to watch the pennies cos of the traveling we are going to do,so bewteen $50-70 a night would be nice.
Just one location will do us who knows we might stay on Carriacou all the time and go to St Georges for day trips.

Ade's Dream does not have a pool, but you are just across the street more or less from the sea. The Grand View has a pool, but I would call or check by e-mail to make sure it is operational. The Grand View has a small bar / restaurant on the main floor, and does have ac in the rooms. It is a bit of a walk to other locations, but a quick 2 minute cab ride to some eating choices.

From what I remember, Green Roof and Silver Beach do not have A/C, and neither one has a pool, but again they are both close to the sea.

Ade's is a little less expensive, but you may be able to negotiate a better rate if they are empty when you are visiting.

If you plan to go back and forth via the Osprey daily, I hope neither of you suffers from seasickness, as sometimes the trip can get rough.

Another option in Carriacou is a new place called Hotel Laurena phone 1 473 443 8333 and was just opened around Feb time. Rooms and beds v big and lots of space in the apts. I seem to remember all had ac. The prices were v reasonable too - not sure if they were special opening rates, but remember thinking how good they were. No pool if I;m correct, but very centrally located in Hillsborough, for the Osprey and for the beach in town.

Think you can find it if you do a search on the web. They have a bar and do some food too.

Great location I think!
