One of our member was so nice and forwarded me this Message and I thought you all would like to hear this great news!


Ferry Service operations will begin September 16th 2005. The schedule will be Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays, leaving Barbados at 7:30am, arriving back into Barbados, every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30pm. Our all new Ferry Service will serve the following destinations.


Dominica - The Nature Island of the Caribbean. This includes visits to the Emerald Pool, Carib Territory, Trafalgar Falls and Botanical Gardens.

Guadeloupe - White sand beaches, french cafes with lots of wine, cheese and shopping.

Martinique - A taste of Paris in the Caribbean. Includes Wine tasting, Shopping and siteseeing.

St.Lucia -The Helen of the Caribbean. Exciting Island tour.
Star Ferries will be servicing soon St.Martin, St.Vincent, Grenada and Trinidad.

That could be cool. Any info on what size the boat is ?

Anse,

it is a nice big Catamaran with seats for 400 passengers and space for 80 vehicles.
Their website is http://www.starferries.com/ - the site is in french and they don't have Barbados or Grenada mentioned yet.
