Hi everyone, I am busy booking my trip to Grenada for the World Cup next year and have made a booking with a place called Pelican Apartments in St Georges. It is managed by a guy called Gus. I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about them and if it is indeed a good place to stay. Accommodation is selling out seriously fast and want to know if I should grab this opportunity. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Regards Pete Wow, you're really hit the end of the rainbow. Not the hilton, a sixties style, but large & reasonable for a of 4 to 6 people. laconic Hi everyone, I am busy booking my trip to Grenada for the World Cup next year and have made a booking with a place called Pelican Apartments in St Georges. Regards Pete Mark not a nice thing to say about Tony Scully when you suggested that he might be renting the same apartment twice. Friends of mine got info from him that must have taken hours to put together, he's the only one who seems to give a toss about the poor sods who don't have anywhere to stay. Shame on you Mark. laconic |

Hi Mieka,
With the photos that I have been sent, these do indeed look like the same place. I am so excited about going now and also that I have accommodation for the World Cup. I don't think I have been this prepared for a holiday ever, almost 6 months to go and have all flights, accommodation and even activities booked for when we are there. Tony has been really good with answering emails and helping to ease any concerns we may have. Hope we can all meet up for a rum punch when we are over there. |

Hi Reflex,
glad to hear you got everything organized for your cricket trip, I know a lot of other cricket fans wish they would have done the same. It get's harder and harder to find some good & affordable accommodations now. Since you will be a close neighbour it would be nice to meet you all for a (IMG:http://grenadatravelforum.com/style_emoticons/default/rumpunch.gif) rum punch. -------------------- Mieka
