Seeking your thoughts on your personal top four favorites or "must see and do" lists:
- Top four casual bars/beach bars/rum shops - Top four fine dining restaurants - Top four casual lunch/dinner/snacking restaurants - Top four excursions or sight-seeing (land or sea) And finally, what are your personal thoughts on a perfect day in Grenada? |

Brewa: You make a "typical" "non-touristy" day sound perfect!
Anse: I forgot to mention in my previous post that I love your pictures. To answer a few questions: I am travelling from Toronto. There are some very reasonable charters in the summer and my original plan had been to come to Grenada early to mid summer. Well, for a variety of reasons, including family weddings, and other unforseen expenses, it looks like I have to put my trip off to late fall or ealy winter. Plus, I love Canadian summers and am reluctant to leave this area in summer, as we really "earn" our warm weather here and there is always so much to do in southern Ontario during the summer months! I really shouldn't complain about my indecision as I had a marvelous 17 day vacation in St. Kitts in January. I have a long and enduring "relationship" with St. Kitts and Nevis. I love it there due to their less commercial, less developed, natural beauty, as compared to other places that I have visited. I would love to relocate there some day (I've been saying that for the past 20 years!) In the meantime, I think it is time to explore some other "less touristy" islands, just to make sure I haven't missed something! Your answers to my queries so far have gone a long way to reassuring me that Grenada will offer what I had hoped I would find there! See you in November! |
