Hello Everyone!  This is a great forum, it has been very helpful already and I just found it this week!

I wondered if anyone has any information about Petit Bacaye Cottage Hotel? I saw earlier posts regarding the lack of air conditioning there, but haven't found any other information.
I know it is a little off the beaten path, but we (my husband and I) are planning on renting a car for a few days.  There is a resturant on site, has anyone tried it?  Thanks for any information!       :big Grin

You are correct. It lacks many things that some pople are happy to get away from including TV, radio, and news of any kind from the outside world. Here is the web site for you to peruse: Petite Bacaye Cottages

I would take a look at other accommodation that fits into that cost structure as well. Twelve Degrees North may be of interest to you. It is considered one of the best small resorts in Grenada. It includes many items in the price. No restaurant for dinners but the maid assigned to you cooks breakfast and lunch to your liking. It is close to restaurants by car. The web site is here: Twelve Degrees North resort You may want to contact the owner, Joe Gaylord who is known for his charm and hospitality by email or phone. Tell him you saw it here on the Grenada Explorer Discussion Board and Sandcrab (Jim) said to contact him for reservations. I just want Joe to know that I said hello.

Good hunting and have fun in Grenada.

Jim - Thanks for the suggestions and the handy links to each!  We are going with Petit Bacaye, we think it has more of a "tropical vacation" feel to it.     :cool)-

Would love to hear from anyone who has stayed at Petie Bacaye or anywhere in the St. David's area.
