Hi,
When we got married in Grenada we brought a certificate from home (Scotland). In Scotland before you get marrried you display a notice in the local registrer office a few weeks before the wedding, this gives any one who has an objection (perhaps a former spouse ?) a chance to say they have an objection. After the few weeks has elapsed (with no objections) you get a certificate saying you are free to marry. What would you do if getting married in Austria is there an equivalent ? DougY |
