Planning on getting married end of March/beginning of April 2003... considering Grenada.  This site is quite helpful.  Can anyone recommend a hotel that would be ideal?  We are bringing a small group (family) as well.

Rose,

A hotel that would be ideal for what ???
The wedding location, the price of the room, someone that has a good wedding package that will arange everything ???  I am not quite sure what you are asking for, so help me out and I am sure that we can help you find the ideal solution!!!!  How long will you be staying in Grenada.  You need at least three working days in advance to get married there.  Let us know !!!!

Thanks for your quick response.  We are looking to stay 1 week in a hotel with above average rooms and grounds.  Of course a wedding package that is included in the accommodation package price would be best.  We want something a bit more upscale than a typical hotel, but not outrageously priced (i.e. Spice Island).  Also, a wedding coordinator on site would be great.  We have looked at LaSource, not too sure about Rex Grenadian.  (Concerned about being too isolated) Any suggestions you have would be great!

Hi,
LaSource is a nice hotel but its all inclusive and a bit far away from the rest of the island attractions.
We got married at La Source in 1995 and it was a great place to get married, when we were there there was only 2 weddings in the entire 2 weeks so it was still something special. The wedding took place at the top of the beach under the palm trees just before sunset.  When we were there there was a hotel wedding coordinator that orginised the whole thing and she did a good job.

Having said that when I go back to Grenada now I do not stay at La Source as I prefer to eat out and see more of the island.
